Department of Reunion Campaigns
The Department of Reunion Campaigns works with each class to run a formal campaign during the fiscal year of reunion (July 1 to June 30). The goal is to raise funds beyond annual contributions so each class can present a special gift to the university during reunion weekend. At reunion, the class announces the total of all funds raised during the fiscal reunion year and presents the university with a class gift chosen from a list of university-approved projects.
The Department of Reunion Campaigns is managed with a high degree of organization, planning, and personalization. Our success is largely dependent on a volunteer fundraising chair and committees that we recruit, cultivate, and coach.
The Department of Reunion Campaigns designs overall development strategy, as well as cultivation and solicitation plans for prospects in the class. Committees meet regularly beginning in the fall to establish class campaign goals, identify objectives for fundraising efforts, and report on campaign progress.
