Welcome — we’re glad you chose to be a part of the Rutgers Family! It’s obvious you care deeply about the quality of education your child/ren receive.
Many of us don’t realize that a Rutgers experience is shaped by more than the tuition we pay but also through the support of parents like us. In fact, it may surprise you to know that the state only supports approximately 33% of the cost of a Rutgers education and tuition covers just 23%. This leaves 44% to be covered from other sources.
How can a gift to the Rutgers Parents Fund improve the quality of life for our child/ren? Well, the fund supports two vital resources at the heart of any university — the Rutgers Libraries and Career Services. To find out more details about this and other areas within the university, visit:

During the 2004-2005 fundraising year, RU parents generously contributed over $289,560. We hope you will remain actively involved in your child/ren’s education while forging a lifelong and meaningful bond with Rutgers.
