Emergency Support
Helping Rutgers Students
Below are just a few of the appeals made in recent weeks to the Rutgers–New Brunswick Dean of Students Office. They illustrate the strain that COVID-19 has put on some Rutgers students, especially those who were already facing financial challenges. Rutgers is committed to providing assistance to these students. Your gift to one of Rutgers’ student emergency funds will provide direct relief to students and help them stay focused on academic success.
“Being an international student, I am ineligible for US financial aid/government relief programs. Further, I am only eligible to work for Rutgers University on an F-1 Visa and cannot take a job off-campus. Given that this situation is ongoing and will likely last 2 months or more, it is becoming increasingly difficult for me to cope with the loss of income.” –New Brunswick graduate student
