Opportunities of a Lifetime
When you provide student support, you’re not just touching one person’s life—your donation will impact the people Rutgers graduates influence during their lives after college.
Our students have gone on to fill important government positions, lead activism efforts in their communities, win Nobel Prizes, and write great American novels. Everyone who graduates from this institution plays a part in building up the world for future generations.
Their achievements are the greatest possible return on investment. Your contributions to scholarship assistance make meaningful change possible.
Scarlet Promise Grants
On his first day in office, July 1, 2020, President Jonathan Holloway kick-started a $10 million focused campaign for the Scarlet Promise Grants program. To launch the campaign, the president personally donated $75,000, directed $125,000 in presidential discretionary funds, and announced a $1 million leadership gift from Mark Angelson, chair of the university’s Board of Governors, in support of Scarlet Promise Grants. It is his hope that global network of Rutgers friends and families will come together in this campaign in the spirit of being Scarlet Forever.
Scarlet Promise Grants, formerly known as Rutgers Assistance Grants, provide essential aid to students for whom a Rutgers education would otherwise be impossible. Learn more about Scarlet Promise Grants here. For more information, call 848-932-7351.

Rutgers Future Scholars
We believe in providing exceptional students the best opportunities early in their education. That’s why every year, the Rutgers Future Scholars program provides 200 low-income, talented middle-school students the opportunity to start their journey to a college education.
Qualifying students attend university programs and events, and receive support and mentoring that continues through their high school years and into college.
Students who successfully complete the five-year program receive full tuition funding to Rutgers—made possible by generous gifts from alumni, family members, friends, corporations, and philanthropic foundations.
