Some Rutgers students experience food insecurity. They might skip meals or eat lower quality food that doesn’t provide the nutrients they need to fuel their minds. The resulting hunger can threaten their ability to succeed. So let’s put a dent in student hunger. In honor of Rutgers’ Charter Day, the Raptors vs. Raiders Food Drive Challenge will raise funds for and awareness about the food pantries at Rutgers University–Camden and Rutgers University–Newark. A gift of any amount can make a difference in the life of a student facing food insecurity. Online donations made between November 10 and November 17 will count toward the challenge.
When you show your Rutgers pride by making a gift, you can help your campus’s food pantry win additional award money. The food pantry with the most donors by midnight on November 17 will win $1,000!
