Class of 1967 — 55th Milestone

It is hard to believe that this year we’ll be celebrating 55 years since graduation! Five and a half decades have now passed since Rutgers challenged each of us to expand our horizons—whether it was in the classroom, on the playing field, or through any number of campus activities. Plans are now underway to celebrate our 55th in the fall of 2022 in conjunction with Homecoming Weekend.

It’s our class tradition to generously support many excellent school projects over the years. To commemorate our 50th anniversary, we supported the School of Arts and Sciences through the naming of the Class of 1967 Plaza at the academic building on Seminary Place. For our 45th we funded the Class of 1967 flag and flagpole at SHI Stadium, which is announced as such at each home game. We have proudly restored the historic iron fences on Old Queens campus and endowed the Class of 1967 Memorial Scholarship Fund, awarded annually to deserving New Brunswick students. All of these gifts, and more, demonstrate our Scarlet pride and are a shining example for students following in our footsteps.

Our goal this year is to increase the endowment of our class scholarship and identify another university priority to mark our 55th milestone. Your gift to the Class of 1967 Fund, which houses funds for our class gifts, will allow us to do just that.
