Rutgers Day Volunteers
Do you love Rutgers Day? If so, volunteer with select programs or on the signage team during Rutgers Day on Saturday, April 26.
Here's what you can expect as a program volunteer:
- Two locations to choose from: Voorhees Mall on College Avenue or the Engineering Mall on Busch.
- Volunteers will be working alongside university staff.
- Responsibilities include set up/clean up, providing instruction on a trivia activity, handing out prizes, and interacting with the public for general information.
- Rutgers Day is rain or shine.
- Volunteers will need to be on their feet for extended periods and should be able to work outside in a tent.
- Parking is available in all lots on Rutgers Day.
- Rutgers Day t-shirts will be provided.
Available shifts:
Half-day shifts: 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Full-day shift: 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (with a lunch break)
Here's what you can expect as a member of the Signage Team:
- Three locations to choose from: Busch, College Ave., or Cook Campus
- Distribute directional and program signs.
- Will be directed by university staff.
- Rutgers Day is rain or shine.
- Volunteers will need to be able to walk for extended periods.
- Parking is available in all lots on Rutgers Day.
- Rutgers Day t-shirts will be provided.
- Available shift: 8-10 a.m. (with plenty of time to enjoy Rutgers Day!)
Interested volunteers should register here by April 4. You will be contacted by mid-April on your assignment.
