This talk will share research from the Verzi Lab, which searches for the mechanisms of intestinal function in hopes of finding therapeutic approaches to treating diseases including malabsorption, inflammatory bowel, and colon cancer. Latest discoveries will be shared, including a new method to grow intestinal cells as organoids for use in cellular therapies.
