Greetings, Rutgers School of Criminal Justice PhD Alum

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Nancy La Vigne, and I’m honored to serve as the new Dean of the Rutgers School of Criminal Justice, having stepped into the role this past March. 

As a graduate of the school myself (PhD 1996), I’m eager to connect with our alumni community—to hear your ideas, learn from your experiences, and explore how the school can better serve and partner with you. Your insights are invaluable as we work to strengthen our programs, deepen our impact, and support the next generation of criminal justice leaders.

To that end, I’d like to invite you to a Listening Session where we can engage in open dialogue about the school’s future and your role in it. Whether you’re interested in mentoring students, collaborating on research, or simply sharing your journey since graduation, I’d love to hear from you.
