Each year, a select group of graduates is chosen for important volunteer leadership positions in the Rutgers community. These roles contribute in a fundamental way to Rutgers excellence, guiding the university as it advances its core values: access to academic excellence, building community, and commitment to the common good.

The Rutgers University Alumni Association Board of Directors steers the RUAA as it strengthens Rutgers and fosters scarlet pride through meaningful engagement.

As a member of the RUAA Board of Directors, you will:

• Help develop alumni experiences and initiatives within the RUAA 
• Identify ways to engage alumni in the Rutgers community
• Shape the alumni experience for more than 615,000 graduates worldwide
