An anonymous gift to the Rutgers Law School in Camden funding a scholarship named for Joel B. Rosen, a retired federal magistrate judge and 1973 Rutgers Law alumnus, will support law students in financial need. The gift was celebrated in honor of Rosen’s 80th birthday.
Combining the best of Rutgers’ two medical schools—each with long histories of exceptional education and service—will create opportunities to serve New Jersey in myriad ways. Pending accreditation in 2027, the New Jersey Medical School in Newark and the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick will form one powerhouse: the future Rutgers School of Medicine. The generosity of donors will play a key role in the ongoing transformation of medical education in New Jersey.

Renovation of a residence hall at Rutgers–New Brunswick is underway to house former and current golf caddies awarded full tuition and housing scholarships. The program and the new scholarship house are made possible by generous gifts from the Western Golf Association’s Evans Scholars Foundation and the Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, which will host the PGA Tour’s 2027 BMW Championship, a primary supporter of the Evans Scholars.
